Shelves! Finally!

Danielle has been begging Ron to build her a set of shelves. She's been asking for them for months, but she became much more persistent when she started bringing home softball trophies. Ron meant to get the shelves done in time for her birthday, but he didn't quite make it. Instead he hung them up in her room so she'll be surprised when she gets home from Grandma's. I cleaned her room so Ron wouldn't kill himself while putting them up, so she will be doubly surprised!

Ron modeled them after these shelves from a popular, yet overpriced, home decor store who wanted over $200 for the pair!!

He didn't like the weathered finish, so his shelves are a little different. I think they look great, and they were only about $60 for the pair. Plus, Danielle really wanted something that Ron made for her, so they will be even more valuable to her. She's such a daddy's girl.
