I haven't seen any monarchs on our milkweed yet, but we have had lots and lots of bees.

Technically speaking this is a really bad photo, but I thought it was kind of cool because you can somewhat see the details on his gorget. Hope to get a better picture at some point yet this summer.

I saw the most beautiful dragonfly while gardening but I knew if I ran for the camera, he'd be gone by the time I got back. Guess I'll just have to envy your pictures for a while.
They're difficult to photograph, too! They don't sit still very long. Of course, if you didn't have your camera with you, it probably sat and posed perfectly!
