In anticipation of Tyler's first day of kindergarten, I thought it might be entertaining to show him what we looked like on our first day. He really enjoyed Ron's picture and wanted to know why he was wearing a girl's sweater. (In case it's not obvious, Ron is the one facing the camera.) I would like to thank my mother for dressing me normal and not like I'm "heading to the disco after school" (Ron's words, not mine). I found it interesting to note that the date written on the back of my picture was Sept. 6, 1977. Who would have thought 30 years and 1 day later my son would be starting his first day of kindergarten. Here we are, in all our glory:
