We went to the zoo with my mom today. There was only supposed to be a chance of rain, but the chance happened while we were there. Grandma and Tyler wanted to see the new section and I still wanted to feed a giraffe, so we stuck it out for a little while. As one of my lovely children pointed out, I was probably the whiniest about the rain, but I didn't wear the right shoes! Anyway...Danielle and I waited in line for the chance to feed the giraffe while Grandma & Tyler checked out another attraction. After a bit of a wait, we finally got our chance. It will be a more enjoyable experience once the novelty of the attraction wears off and you aren't hurried through so the other hundred people can have their turn, but it was still cool. (I wish we could have pet them while we were at it.)
After we fed the giraffe we called it a day at the zoo and went out for lunch. I left my phone on the table while I went to the restroom. Danielle entertained herself. These are the least embarrassing pics.

That is a nice thing at Zoo Miami - not only is the giraffe feeding kind of old news, it is such a long walk from the entrance you don't usually have a long wait! They also have rhino feeding, but evidently the rhinos are not predictably hungry!
