Summer Break, Day 1

First order of business? Picking strawberries!

They've been in season here for at least 2 weeks now, so it's about time we made it to the farm! The weather was just right this year - not too hot! And since the strawberries have been in for awhile, the farm wasn't crowded.

I think Tyler managed to get maybe 15 or 20 berries into the bucket. Every time I looked over at him he was stuffing another berry into his mouth! Danielle didn't do much better. We ended up with plenty, though,  and enjoyed our traditional strawberry slushies before leaving.

Since we've picked strawberries at the beginning of every summer for the past several years, it's always interesting to me to look back at how much the kids have grown.
