Tonight was Danielle's Daisy Investiture Ceremony. An investiture ceremony is basically a ceremony to welcome new girls into the troop. Since we have a new troop, all the girls were welcomed tonight. All the girls received their Daisy tunics and pins, said the Daisy promise, and learned the Daisy handshake. Most importantly, in Tyler's opinion, they ended the ceremony with cookies and punch.
They also sang a song - a nice, safe, wholesome song about making friends. :) 
The tunic has a blue circle on the center, which will be the center piece of a daisy. The center circle stands for the Daisy promise. They earn daisy petals to go around the circle as they learn about various aspects of the Girl Scout law.
