Ron took today off work and we went to the state fair. It was a beautiful day, but it did get a little hot (hence the ice pack on the forehead).Tyler enjoyed trying out a kayak. The kids also enjoyed watching the lumberjack show and the pig races and seeing the Lego exhibit. Unfortunately not all the animals were there yet, but we did get to see the giant Belgian horses, the pigs, and the sheep. We ran into Uncle Ron and Grandpa C a couple times, and that was kind of fun. We also saw the famous butter cow(s). We splurged on deep fried candy bars before leaving. It was a sweet way to end the day!
