A Patch of Pumpkins
We have gotten rather unceremonious about picking out pumpkins the last few years. This year was by far the worst. We remembered at dinner last night that we hadn't picked out or carved pumpkins yet. Trick-or-treat is Thursday evening, so the kids and I went to the store after school to pick out a pumpkin for each of us. Here are a couple pictures of the kids picking out their special pumpkins. Good times.

Our kids are eager to carve a pumpkin, but I just cannot get excited about pumpkin carving down here. They last about 12 hours and melt into a heap of goo and snails. yuck.
