I tye-died some fabric yesterday and saved the leftovers for the kids. They each tye-dyed a shirt after school. I think they turned out pretty good! 
I took these pictures a few days ago. I thought the insect ridges in the tree stump were especially interesting. Don't know what kind of flowers those are. The bird is an eastern meadowlark. They have a really pretty song. 
Ron started working on the floor today. The kids wanted to lend a hand. Tyler is an especially good helper. I'll post before and after pictures later this weekend. It's not done yet; the job was a little more time consuming than Ron thought it would be. It looks really nice, though.
