This started as a way to document the amusing antics of our 2 & 4 year old children several years ago. It has evolved into a great forum for keeping grandparents, friends, and other relatives involved in our daily lives. It is also a good place for me to share what is important in our lives, and to document those things I want to be sure I don't forget.

Signs of Spring
The redwing blackbirds have returned and are singing their love songs.
Tiny shoots of green are peeking through the leaves.
Creepy crawlies are emerging.
This guy was on our window.
(Those are water droplets on the caterpillar's back.)
I don't think THIS one will become anything because it's still too cold for him here! I think it's a moth caterpillar. Other than that I don't know. I meant to look it up in a field guide Danielle checked out of the library but forgot. Do you know?
Found flowering trees as far north as northern NC. Daffodils were ready to bloom in front of our hotel. Spring is creeping up from the south. Wish it would run.
Nice caterpillar! Do you know what it will become?
